Recruiting officer
Assists the function of the senate and executive board by promoting events and seeking people to fill positions in the student government.
Supreme Court Justices
There are to be five supreme court members. As a student government, we have a constitution and set of bylaws. Basically, the supreme court is available 'as needed,' it’s more easy-going. The supreme court members would be called, for instance, if there was an issue with an election where the rules were broken or if there is an issue that cannot be resolved by the senate vote. The supreme court will probably also keep in touch with the senate to be on track if anything is changed in the bylaws or constitution. This hasn't been a really time-demanding position in the past, and the meetings are called only if they are needed. It is a great position to have if you want to be more familiar with the system though and if you are looking into more involvement later on.
Executive Board assistant
The E-Board assistant is someone who helps the executive board take care of records, and assists the secretary with things like emails, minutes from meetings, communicating with the other senators and so on. This position will probably require moderate amounts of time during the week to fulfill - probably mostly computer work.
Liaisons
Our "eyes and ears" among the students. Flight liaison, family housing liaison, CGCC liaison, and City of Mesa Liaison.
University Technology Board Representative
Each campus student government send two representatives to the sit on a board to voice, facilitate, and implement the concerns and needs of the students to the University Technology Office. Together the students and the administration work towards improving the technological experience for all of ASU. The Polytechnic campus is looking for two representatives.
Student Fee Allocation Board
The Student Fee Allocation Board is a section of the Associated Students of ASU Polytechnic (Polytechnic Student Government) that is responsible for allocating funding to student clubs and organizations. We have six open positions to sit on the board.
Senior Year Experience program Polytechnic student representation
Roles that need filling are Vice-President (Poly), Officers, and Council members.
